Title: A Court of Mist and Fury
As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre's hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future and the future of a world in turmoil.

Blurb: Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she's now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people.

My Thoughts: This book starts with the countdown to Feyre and Lord Asshat's wedding where Feyre has almost no say in the planning. Tamlin is still trying to control her even after all the shit she went through under the mountain. Thankfully the day of the wedding Rhysand shows up and whisks her away to Velaris, the secret city within the Night Court. Feyre starts to grow and heal when she goes with Rhysand. Rhysand is trying to prepare for a war that the King of Hybern is about to start but nobody wants to hear or prepare for it. Meanwhile, Tamlin is actively hunting for Feyre and Lucien does find her about two-thirds through the book. Rhysand gets injured, and while Feyre is talking to the Suriel to find out how to heal him, the Suriel slips that Rhys is her mate (which she didn't know). Towards the end of the book, we find out that Tamlin has entered into a bargain with the King of Hybern to get Feyre back. Hybern ends up turning Elain and Nesta into High Fae and Feyre re-enters the Spring Court as a spy.
This book is a re-read for me as I haven't read this series since they were released years ago. This book holds over time. There were things in this book that I forgot about and things I could have sworn happened in the third book. I'm still hating Tamlin and I will always hate him. Now I'm excited to go into book three because I don't remember anything that happens in it.
